This time, famous composer and one of my all-time favorites, James Horner.

Famous for his work on the score of Titanic(1997), Star Trek II and III(198 and 198, Braveheart(1995), Aliens(1986), and even the Amazing Spider-Man(2012); and there’s so many more, these are my favorites.

So young as well, only 61. :(

Enjoy the best Star Trek main theme EVER. He will sorely be missed. :(

I particularly like his work on Willow and The Rocketeer. It must be said, though, that the score for Commando is the most iconically, utterly ridiculously cheesy action movie score I can even think of. Which I guess it was supposed to be?

Say what you want about the movie, but the score for Titanic is fantastic and the movie wouldn’t be the same without it.

I have to agree. For Titanic being what it was, it was possibly one of the best scored movies I can think of (that wasn't scored by John Williams).
